what´s in the syslog file?

oops, the db.zonefiles you have to create manually on the zone 
master,likewise you have to create the named.conf master config file, while 
you´re at it.

You can get a logging statement on the bind site in my sig, config page, to 
paste into your named.conf for initial debugging purposes.
