Newbie question

Is it possible that the interfaces are down, or that in migrating this machine,
you may have inadvertently done something to muck up the interfaces or the
system?  Myself, I wouldn't run a name server on an NT box, so I cannot provide
direct advice for that platform, but in my experience, this has happened either
when the interfaces are down for some reason or there is something amiss
permission-wise.  Of course, this is only on UNIX systems, so I don't know what
you might be seeing here.
