BIND9 reverse delegation

Hello,

I have noticed that BIND9 handles reverse lookups differently than
BIND8. It doesn't seem to let you 'over-ride' reverse entries that have
been delegated, in the parent.

In my master zone file for 192.143.in-addr.arpa. I have the 143.192.3.
network delegated to a wins server:

3	IN	NS	wins.chotel.com.

Also in the 192.143.in-addr.arpa. zone file, there are entries for
specific servers:

49.3	IN	PTR	felix.chotel.com.

BIND8 handles lookups for 143.192.3.49 by returning felix.chotel.com,
BIND9 appears to handle this by passing the query to wins.chotel.com
which fails.

Can anybody shed some light on this? Have I been doing it wrong all
along and it's been 'fixed' in BIND9?

Thanks,
Jesse DeFer
