Supporting Multiple Domains

I am trying to setup DNS to support 3 domains (x.com, y.com,
z.com)...nslookup will resolve host1 as host1.x.com. But when quering host2
(in y.com domain) or host3 (in z.com domain) it will not resolve...when I
set nslookup to debug, it shows that it is trying to resolve host2 and host3
to the x.com domain only...how can I get DNS to serach all domains fro the
unique host name...thanks in advance...Jerry
