Somewhat simple DNS setup...

Hi, everybody-

Been lurking here for a couple of months now - I'm learning a lot, but
want to double-check what I've done so far. First, a brief history. A
guy I met on the net (thanks Scott) originally setup my DNS, so I have
had a working DNS for a couple of years now without knowing what everything
meant. :) When I got my DSL and had to change IP's, I also went ahead and
learned a bit about DNS from y'all, but I'd like to verify my setup and ask
if anyone can help me troubleshoot a problem.

My problem is this: People at cableone.net can't resolve any of the
hosts on my domain. I've tried using ns1.cableone.net's ns to resolve
my hosts, and I get no reply. Beyond this, I have no idea how to
troubleshoot the problem. Most other ISP's I have checked work OK,
with the exception of sprint.net...

Here's my cwe.db file: (I got the format from http://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/ripe-192.html)

;*****file starts
cwe.cx. SOA ns.cwe.cx. admin.cwe.cx. (

                             1D ) ; minimum: 60 minutes

Any suggestions you can give, or if you can guess the trouble with
cableone.net, would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I realize I have
two A records for 12.29.146.34, but so far it seems to work and I
changed that after cableone started having problems. Is there a
more elegant way to do it, or should I CNAME hermod.cwe.cx to cwe.cx?

Oh, one more question. What's the correct way to have an MX record
for saints.cwe.cx (a CNAME itself)? I'd like people to be able to
send mail to someone at saints.cwe.cx and have my mail handler at cwe.cx
process the mail.

Thanks much, I know this is a long post with a lot of questions, but I
think I'm really getting close to finally having it down thanks to y'all.

Craig
