Problem Configuring BIND-9.1.1rc2

I am trying to install BIND-9.1.1rc2 on Solaris 7 on an INTEL platform. When
I issue the ./configure I receive an error message stating that the C
compiler does not work. (Compiler is gcc-2.95.2-sol7-sparc) the error msg
continues to say that the 'C compiler cannot create executables'...pls
help...and thanks in advance...Jerry
