Bind 8.2.3 bugs?

Depends on your definition of "bug". There are known limitations and deficiencies of
BIND 8.2.3, most if not all of which are fixed, or in the process of being fixed, in
BIND 9.

You could try BIND 9 and see if you still have the problem. Or, you could provide
specifics on your problem, and then we could mostly likely help you fix it without
requiring an upgrade.
