Curious named 8.2.3-REL core dump.

The box is FreeBSD 3.5-STABLE #5: Sun Feb 4

The 'messages' logs showed a normal start on Feb 4, then core dump on
Feb 8 with no one logged in on Feb 8:

Feb  4 19:49:43 ns5 named[129]: starting (/etc/namedb/named.conf).  named
8.2.3-REL Sun Feb  4 02:49:18 CST 2001

Feb  4 19:49:46 ns5 named[130]: Ready to answer queries.

Feb  8 14:31:00 ns5 named[130]:
/usr/src/lib/libbind/../../contrib/bind/lib/isc/ev_timers.c:114: INSIST(n
ow.tv_usec >= 0 && now.tv_usec < 1000000) failed.

Feb  8 14:31:00 ns5 named[130]:
/usr/src/lib/libbind/../../contrib/bind/lib/isc/ev_timers.c:114: INSIST(n
ow.tv_usec >= 0 && now.tv_usec < 1000000) failed.

Feb  8 14:31:02 ns5 /kernel: pid 130 (named), uid 0: exited on signal 6
(core dumped)

The only thing unusual that I have done lately was to install 8.2.3-REL
from the tar file at ISC, then later install the same version as part of a
CVS OS compile and install.

Any hints as to the cause?

Thank you,
