bind 8.2.3 and sendmail

After upgrading to bind 8.2.3, we are experiencing difficulties sending
email to certain domains. nslookup is able to resolve the domain but the
mail does not get delivered. Following is what shows up in the mail
queue with a lookup deffered message. Does anyone have any ideas on what
might be the problem? Is anyone else experiencing the same sort of
problem? The sendmail server is also the primary dns server for the
domain.
