BIND 9.1.0 & IPv6

Did you try to add an IPv6 address as the RDATA to an A record?
That won't work.  You need to use either the AAAA or A6 record
type.

A quick Google search turns up the following examples of BIND
configuration with IPv6:

http://www.visc.vt.edu/ipv6/doc/dns.html (a little old, based on BIND 4
and AAAA)
http://www.ipv6.surfnet.nl/sheets/120.html (says BIND 8, but it's actually
just two zone data files)
