add an 'A' record for 'accenet.com'. it's important if you want people
to be able to go to 'accenet.com'.

dig shows the SOA record when no 'answer' is found from the
authoritative nameservers.

don't use nslookup. but yeah same thing as above.

hrmm i don't see how it is...

also:

aura% dig accenet.com ns @a.gtld-servers.net +sh
NS2.accenet.com.
NS1.accenet.com.

your nameserver doesn't agree with the gtld servers (it only reports ns2
in the ns records for the domain), and ns1 doesn't appear to exist at
all:

aura% dig accenet.com @NS1.accenet.com. ns
dig: Couldn't find server 'NS1.accenet.com.': No address associated with
hostname

aura% dig accenet.com @216.59.145.117 ns

; <<>> DiG 9.2.0 <<>> accenet.com @216.59.145.117 ns
;; global options: printcmd
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

you need to define ns1, and put both as authoritative nameservers in the
zone file. they're also both in the same netblock; you should really
have a secondary in a different geographic location and on a different
netblock.

there are free services like secondary.com which will do this for you
for free.
