Sigh.  Now you have one more person feeding you baloney.  Let's keep this
simple.

The version of OpenVMS and the IP stack is IRRELEVANT to the
question of adding A records or CNAME records to a domain in a DNS
Server. If you have a DNS Server, it WILL support these records and that's
all that you need.  You are adding these records to a SINGLE domain.
