Help on Reverse lookup..+..Bind 9.1.0

 hello all..
 well i have registerd the domain..and it is as well with
 the APNIC.
 the problem is that my reverse lookup dosent work from out side the domain.
 does that mean that i also have to register the in-addr.arpa at the APNIC so that the reverse lookups work.
 secoundly
 i have upgraded to bind 9.0.1 and when i start the server
 it gives me the error i.e..err near "<quoted string>"..on line 2
 which is defined as ...directory "/directory path of files/" ;
