creating log files in a subdir together with versions doesn't wor

As a matter of fact, I did recieve an email which said:

Unfortunately I couldn't gather from the email that it
has been acknowledged as a bug. My fault.

	It got bumped to bind9-bugs as it looks like a real bug from
	your description,.  You should have recieved mail saying
	that it was assigned bug number "[ISC-Bug #1189]".
