    Shooting yourself in the foot is not supported. If you turn off
logging, then
you have no way to tell if you are being attacked and you have no way of
knowing
if BIND finds errors in the zone or conf files or errors in the program.

    Having said that you can probably set the logging in named.conf to
point to
the NUL device and work it that way.
