Hi,

I'm running bind 8.2.2p5 on NT and have seen the named.exe crash
several times during use of dynamic updates.

I run a script that added a couple of hundred entries,
but named stops after 100-300 entries.

DrWatson says:

Application exception occurred:
        App: (pid=365)
        When: 9/18/2000 @ 20:38:4.734
        Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

...

function: ZwReadFile

        77f67eca 8bc0 mov eax,eax

Have anyone seen this before?

The last messages in the log are:

and then crashes named and DrWatson appears.

This is not the bug where "DNS query results in many A records
returned to BIND/NT for one hostname."

I have many hostnames resolving to one IP address though.

Thanks

Mikael
