ndots options on NT and 95/95

Hi all

Is there ndots option existing on NT or 95/98?  Presently dns
lookup on NT and 95 is different: NT always append my domain
first then send query to DNS, but 95 will send query first, if
query fails then append domain.  How could I change them like
Unix resolv.conf options ndots in registry?
e.g.
     query
     host.acml.com
                    on NT                     on 95
     first question      host.acml.com.acml.com    host.acml.com
     second question     host.acml.com
host.acml.com.acml.co
