It depends on what your users are doing all day.  If they are all
supposed to be writing reports on Word Perfect all day, then
800/user/day is far too many.  If they are supposed to be actively
monitoring something or doing financial transactions or something on
the Web or even with another internal server, it can be quite
reasonable.  Remember, e.g., a Web page lookup can generate one to
hundreds of name lookups, and with a firewall, double that.
