NXDOMAIN error ?

I continually get messages, like the ones below,  on the half hour. host1 is
our main DNS server but host bucs has not been around for about two months.
I have checked the DNS db tables and no record of bucs exists. Could someone
tell me what this error means. I have tried to re-create the error by using
nslookup or even ping bucs, hoping that would generate the statement in the
log, but it didn't...thanks in advance...Jerry
