When are the zone files written??

Hello all,

I am using bind-8.2.2p5 and dhcpd3 latest cvs beta for maintaining our M$
boxes.

After the TTL of the dynamic entries the hosts disappear from when being
looked up.
The mean thing is that the DCHP guys make the dynamic entries only with half
the lifetime of the DHCP lease.

So my question:
When is the dynamic data written to the zone data file. The manual says only
on termination.
Is there a (undocumented) parameter to make named dump its own zone files
periodically ?
