help! problems since I switched to bind

Your name server has probably cached the negative answers or an
infinite RTT to the non-responding servers it tried when resolving
tf.citationcorp.com. If you wait a while, this information will
disappear from the cache. Eventually. If the mail is important,
restart your name server. Resolving tf.citationcorp.com's MX records
works just fine for me, so it should work for you too. However it
would be an idea to find out why some DNS queries timed out. Maybe
you've got some (broken) forwarding set-up or perhaps there's a
network problem that's causing DNS traffic to get dropped?
