Server not loading its configuration

I don't think that is hard to understand.. The issue above only plays when
you have zone files with a large amount of domains.

In that case named could be busy a while while loading it's config, and it
won't answer querys while loading it's config. (can anyone conform this
?).

In that case it would be handy to now why it isn't answering things.
