flushset: out of memory

Thanks for the replies I had to my question. I now realise that running a a
busy sendmail MTA and nameserver is not too good an idea and are probably
the cause of this.

your named needs more memory. Either limits are to tight or real/virtual
memory is scarce.

You don't happen to run anything besides bind in this box ?
