Well since you didn't provide the original file *exactly* as it was
presented to your name server, who knows? And what version of BIND
loaded the file? What did the name server logs say when the zone file
was loaded? Did you check the logs?
$ORIGIN xyz.se.
@ 6H IN SOA pathfinder.forumsyd.se.
hostmaster.forumsyd.se. (
2000050601 ; serial
6H ; refresh
1H ; retry
2w6d ; expiry
6H ) ; minimum
6H IN NS pathfinder.forumsyd.se.
6H IN NS auth210.ns.uu.net.
6H IN MX 10 online.forumsyd.se.
www 6H IN A 212.209.75.114
The problem may be the use of symbolic notation for TTL, expire,
refresh and retry values. Some BIND versions allow this. Others
don't. Syntactally everything else is OK, apart from the SOA record
you mangled of course. Maybe your mangling has obscured some other
fault? Or perhaps you've told the name server to load this zone file
for something other than this bogus xyz.se zone?
Why did you conceal the actual domain name? According to the Swedish
NIC, xyz.se doesn't exist.
