check dns soa records

ns2.web-stew.com is lame for web-stew.com; looks like maybe zone transfers
broke and the zone expired.

That alone doesn't account for the problems, though, unless ns1 has been down
a lot (in which case *no* server is able to answer authoritatively for the
domain).
