any idea why I might be seeing these errors in bind 8.2.2-p5 on H p/UX 10.20?

May 23 23:40:48 dns1 named[8282]: check_hints: root NS list in hints for
class 1 does not match root NS list
May 23 23:40:48 dns1 named[8282]: check_root: 1 root servers after query to
root server < min

These messages are being reported on a couple of my internal dns servers.
We run internal "root" servers that can be used as hints to resolve multiple
internal, completely different domains.  The name servers that i've got
setup as "internal "root"" servers as specified in a file I call db.cache
which is included in the named.conf in this manner:

zone "." {
  type hint;
  file "db.cache";
};

I see the above messages for a long time then I see the following:

May 24 00:07:50 dns1 named[8282]: ns_req: no address for root server
May 24 00:07:50 dns1 named[8282]: sysquery: no addrs found for root NS ()
May 24 00:07:50 dns1 named[8282]: sysquery: no addrs found for root NS
(root1.nb.com)

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
