stub zone and DDNS question

If I use zone type stub to (effectively) delegate subdomain.mydomain.com
on my master server for mydomain.com, and something tries to due a DDNS
update to subdomain.mydomain.com BUT directs the DDNS update to the
master for mydomain.com, will that DDNS update get to the master for
subdomain.mydomain.com?

I use stub 'cause I have a global forwarders entry...
