this couldn't be because the DNS is part of a private network which is
connected via an
ip masquerading/Fw - router (linux) to the rest of the world.
so the DNS is ureachable to anyone from "outer space" 

BTW: the DNS is konfigured as a primary for the internal domain and to
forward anything else to a 
trusted DNS of my ISP
