Bug in named ? No more dumping?

Just figured it out.  The rights were the same as before the upgrade - own
by root:root.  Since named was running as named:named, it couldn't write
there.  The only one with permission to write in /var/named was root.  I
changed the rights for a split second to do my dump, and then changed them
back...

But that raises the question, would there be a problem placing named as the
owner of that directory?
