Returing a ip on non-existant hosts?

Not having found it in the documentation, I'm wondering if there is any
support in Bind 8 for returning an IP if the given name doesn't exist in
the zone file?

That is, if host-a.example.com exists in the actual zone file, return
it's information. If host-b.example.com doesn't exist, return a default
set of values that mean something?
