dns setup help

If you want everyone to go to your nameserver to look up names in your
domain, you have to register it.  Otherwise, how do you think anyone would
know that your nameserver exists?

If you want to be able to look up the computers on your network by name,
you need to enter them in DNS (since this is the BIND newsgroup, I assume
you're running BIND, not Microsoft DNS -- the latter is able to translate
DNS into WINS, so you may not need to enter the workstations).

You need your MX record to point to your Exchange server.

Since your DSL provider is willing to run DNS for you, and you obviously
don't know what you're doing, why are you wasting your time and energy on
this?
