Domain without WWW. not working

This is a just a guess.

If your using apache.... Do you have the ServerAlias Directive set in the
httpd.conf?

IE ....

<Virtualhost mydomain.com>
ServerAlias www.mydomain.com
.... other Directives.
</Virtualhost>
