SOA name of authoritative server to use

Suppose I have a nameserver ns1.olddomain.com. It now has to run a
nameserver for newdomain.com. The delegation from the top-level domain
is to ns1.olddomain.com

So (leaving out the refresh/retry/expire/ttl stuff) for the *new* domain
does my SOA read:

newdomain.com. IN SOA ns1.olddomain.com. hostmaster.olddomain.com. (
...... 

OR

newdomain.com. IN SOA ns1.newdomain.com. hostmaster.newdomain.com. (...
