You don't.

We ship BIND with FreeBSD.  IIRC FreeBSD 3.4 has 8.2.2-p5 in the base
system.

You'll see the binaries in /usr/sbin/ and the sources in 
/usr/src/contrib/bind and /usr/src/usr.sbin/named*
