I was pinging the following site

ping -s www.sun.com

It takes time to open the connection in the beginning. Once the connections
is open it takes normal time. Also with traceroute from hop to hop.

::Be interesting to know which Sun machine you are pinging. But if you are
::using 192.18.97.195 as your address(es) then I would suggest you stop and
::get your own ip numbers.
