Logging errors to Email

Greetings all,

	I'm trying to setup Bind to log all the panic and error codes to email.
The closest I have seen that I can set the logger to send it to a syslog
facility, and then have to send that created log to the mail spool, like so
	channel mailerr
		{
		syslog ( mail;);
		};
	Which creates the messages in the file defined by syslog.conf.  However, is
there a simpler way than moving this file every x minutes.  Something that
would email an admin the second it recieved an error message?
