In "regular DDNS" between DHCPd and BIND the updates are sent by the DHCP
server, not the clients. Different story with W2K as far as I've read.

I'd suggest you get the "DHCP Handbook" by one of the guys involved in the
DHCP RFCs and Ted Lemon, the ISC-founded author of the ISC DHCPd.
