This is how the zone file could look... now for your problem, it seems
like that the default adress is
212.4.208.107, and that you're CNAME-ing your www to that default.
So if you do a PING to ifihada.com you should get a reply, and that IP
address (212.4.208.107)
The same if you do a PING to www.ifihada.com .
If this is so, than the problem lies not within BIND, but in your apache
config...
I've tested it, and your DNS seems to be OK. So, the problem lies within
your apache config,
have you configered apache to use header based hosting aka virtual site
hosting...
Do you have multiple Sites running on that webserver...???
If this is the case, you need to create an entry for ifihada.com, which
uses the same DocumentRoot as www.ifihada.com,
or put your BindAdress 212.4.208.107 in your httpd.conf

Subject: *way* over my head here!!!
Hi.
I'm new to this group, but I've read the FAQ through and not found
anything
particular to my problem, which is:
I have ifihada.com with BIND running with apache (I'm a relative newbie
if
you haven't already guessed!)
Two problems exist:
1) www.ifihada.com works... Although there's only a messy holding page
there
atm... http://ifihada.com doesn't work... How do I get it to work?
I don't have direct access to the BIND settings, only through a
web-panel. I
took a screenshot of what I have to work with at:
www.ifihada.com/dns.gif -
Is this enough to acheive what I want???
I need to know how to get http://ifihada.com to work...
*Any* help is appreciated!!!
2) How do I set up http://robotics.ifihada.com, for example?
As I said... I'm completely in the dark about BIND and DNS, so *any*
help is
brilliant!
TIA!
