question regarding tons of '-zone' proccesses

I recently went to BIND 4.9.7 from BIND 4.9.5 (soon
will goto BIND 8.2.x).

And I am noticing tons of -zone proccesses on the run
queue when doing a vmstat. I have been watching
the vmstat output for almost a half hour now and the
number of -zone procs is still at 85+.

Any ideas?

PS - The OS is AIX 4.3.3.0 running on a 43P
