BIND, DHCP and DDNS

Hi,

I want to run bind-8.2.2-P5 and dhcp-3.0b1pl14 on the same machine, and
set them up so that the dhcp server updates DNS tables when it allocates
IP addresses to dhcp clients. The DNS server is supposed to be the
master server.

Now, how do I make changes to the DNS server table in such a way that my
changes do not interfere with the changes the DHCP server makes.

I noticed that when the DHCP server makes an update, the zone table file
is not really updated (or at least not at once). If a sysadmin makes an
update by hands and sends HUP signal, the update made by dhcpd is lost.

How to avoid this situation?

Thanks in advance?

Sergey
