configuration of Bind and nslookup

Hi, i would like some infos about Bind. i am working with linux 2.2.13 and
Bind 8

First, what is the difference with a simple address of a DNS server.

Second, i can't configure nslookup correctly. It tells always:
address= 0.0.0.0

Where is the file who give the addresses to nslookup (/etc/resolv.conf,
hosts, named.conf...

i don't understand. Could you help me ?
