Bind Software

Hi,

I have BIND 8.2.2P5 running on NT 4.0 along with a mail server and web
server.

BIND can run on the same machine as other services. I have it running on a
PDC (Primary Domain Controller) along with a mail server and IIS. I only
have 60 or so domains in BIND and it doesn't use hardly any processor time
and only 2.5 MB of ram.

If you want I'll help you get it going on NT. I don't know enough about
UNIX to LINIX to help you there although I'm sure others on the list can.

Gary

be implemented on an NT server? and last, does it have to be on a seperate
machine to function only as a DNS?
