is there a Full resolver implemetation of BIND

hi all,
   I have seen the code of BIND and i think it implements only Stub Resolver ( in which it contacts only the configured name servers)
   can the BIND act as  Full resolver or can be configured.. If not BIND can anyone tell me where i can find the code for a full  resolver..
