Must I recompile sendmail?

Hello!

I'm going to install bind 8.2.2 p5. Now, I have bind 4.9.7 and sendmail
8.9.3  - both installed on the same server. Bind works as primaery
server of my
domain and as a secondary of few other.  The INSTALL file from bind
8.2.2
"says":

"Until a method to update the system's libraries is available,
applications wishing to use BIND 8 library routines must include
BIND 8 .h files, and must link with libbind.a. "

My question is:  Must I  recompile my sendmail with new libraries from
bind 8.2.2 ?
