DNS server with cable modem

I have a cable modem provided my MediaOne. I run NT Server 4.0 on the
directly connected machine. I just got my own .com registered with
InterNIC, but I can't get it to work. As usual, MediaOne doewsn't support
running any kind of servers on their connections, so they are absolutely no
help at all! I have enetered all of the info into MS DNS Manager correctly
(I say this because if I edit TCP/IP properties and add the server under
DNS, I can use my .com name correctly, but it does not work from anywhere on
the internet). I have made sure that my nameserver has been updated in the
registry, and points to my i.p. address, which is dynamic, but has not
changed in the 4 months I have had the cable modem.

Is there anything that anyone can think of to help me? By the way, if it
helps anyone, my server i.p. is 24.30.27.0, and my registered name is
caseyhome.com (there is DNS info entered on ym server for www ftp and mail
..casehome.com) Any help anyone could give me would be great! I'm new to
DNS, and I just don't understand what the problem here is. Thanks
