notify problem

I'm having a problem with notify-feature of Bind (bind 8.2.2 on Solaris
2.6). After a change in datafiles, notifying the slave nameserver of the
zone works fine.

I configured the following lines into the zone info and restarted the
server.

notify yes;
also-notify xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx;

After this I read the log-file. Bind still notifies the slave server of
the zone OK, but not this additional server. Anyone has any idea what
might be wrong?
