Question about "dig"

There's a man page in the doc tarball, just like there's a man page
for the rest of the BIND stuff there. The man page doesn't describe
the output: that should be obvious. It's a verbose decoding of the
reply packet from the name server that was queried. Some of the
options and arguments to dig can be used to make it shut up.
