Error while installing BIND

Hi,

I'm trying to install bind 8.1.2 on Solaris 2.6 and I got
this error. 

gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/home/ridhuan/src/port/solaris/include'
gcc  -g -O2 -I../../port/solaris/include -I../../include -c noop.c
/usr/lib/adb/as: D=a: cannot open
/usr/lib/adb/as: ./contents (mutex): not found
/usr/lib/adb/as: .$: not found
gmake[2]: *** [noop.o] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/home/ridhuan/src/port/solaris'
gmake[1]: *** [all] Error 2
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/home/ridhuan/src/port'
gmake: *** [all] Error 2

My guessed is I didn't set the path for /usr/lib/abd/as file. But, even
after I set it up, I still got this error. Does anybody know if
I missed something here?
