MAXNS in resolv.conf

Theoretically, you could change MAXNS, recompile the resolver library and
install it over the top of Solaris's resolver library. You'd probably
have issues dealing with all of the "nsswitch" stuff, and possibly even
the "door" interface (depending of course on which version of Solaris
we're talking about). It would probably be a lot of work.

Why would you want to though? Is your DNS infrastructure so flaky that
you often have 3 nameservers down? If I had 3 nameservers down at once,
I'd want to *know* about it, rather than just masking the problem.
Failover is a neat feature, but it shouldn't be considered a substitute
for a robust infrastructure.
