Win2000 Server & DNS

Hi

We have a small business which has three different offices at different
locations. One within US , and the other two in overseas. We had our local
ISP to provide DSL connection for our US office. Additionally, we have
subscribed to local ASP to provide us with web hosting and POP3/SMTP mail
service (let say our domain is example.com).

We're setting all our offices with Win2000 Server utilizing DNS/ADS . The
confusion arises when we're planning for naming our DNS name. The following
are the questions:-

1. If we setup the server can we retain the example.com as our domain for
the company in US? If yes, do we need to register and with whom?

2. If we plan for VPN for our employee to access our network, how they will
identify our DNS if it's not registered? I'm confuse in the structure works
on the hieracial model.

3. If we use same dns at all location how we want to retain integrity?

4. If we use different dns at all there location, how can I ensure the
mobile users can accces our network with minimal configuration problem.

5. example.com is associated with IP at our local ASP. Is this a domain or
just the computer id in dot com domain. Where is the DNS come into picture?

Hope you can really help me on this. I was in the bookstore for few days and
could not find any answer to my question

Thanks
